11:17 am - Wii
|
The Revolution is now officially named Wii
http://revolution.ign.com/articles/703/703502p1.html
Cue jokes like: "I need a Wii" "What colour is your Wii?" etc.
It will catch on, everyone thought PlayStation and XBox were stupid names, now they are the biggest brands... wether it is because of or in spite of the names, it can't be said.
Also, there are apparently still more big secrets about the Rev... Wii, which will be unveiled at E3... 2 weeks time.

This morning it had snowed.
It was the variety with the consistency of merange, which makes a soft crumping sound under foot.

Because we were bored, me and lilpika were flicking through the channels on TV when we hit upon ITV running it's Nightscreen loop. (This is basically a bunch of images and text describing up-coming films/programs set to music which runs when programming has ended)
We stopped on this because if it's cheesy SNES style music loops which kept switching between music styles.
This is when pika came up with the idea of describing scenarios from an entirely fabricated RPG to fit the current music which happened to be playing (changing scenes whenever the music style changed). It was quite amusing with fairground, spies, beach resort, boss battle, farm, enemy headquarters, lost in the desert, village, shop/inn and random encounter all making an appearance. >^.^<
Now I think we should get some sleep. >o.o< .

11:15 am - Random dream
|
It started off inside some kind of giant statue that was on its side... Lots of people were in there with me, but they appeared to be scraping away at the inside of the statue with bowl type things... The statue appeared to be made out of some kind of weak sand stone...
I exited from the statue by its feet, there appeared to be a heap of the excavated material the people had been scraping outside. I discovered this huge statue had been taken down due to a huge luxury apartment building that had been built on the site of the statue (yes the statue was that big, kind of like statue of liberty size)
i got outside and met Pika and some other random people who I seemed to know but remembering now I don’t recognise their faces. we went into a shop and bought Red Bulls, but they were in really long cans, like normal size around, but about a meter long... so we bough electric straws, they were like straws, but with an electric pump on the end, sort of like the ones they use in pubs to serve coke, but they were red and yellow plastic (I claim all patents on the electric straw). The plastic bit on the straws has a Rabbi's face on (it seemed to be an 'in' joke in the dream ‘cos one of the group was Jewish that he could only eat or drink anything if a rabbi was watching, a parody on the kosher tradition).
We walked for a while and sort of ended up in the country side, we came to a small village and there seemed to be a demolition derby going on... but it was like a village fete... so it seemed all traditional. We watched it for a while. Some farmer guy seemed to be controlling the event using signs, one of which said 'suck my trottie experience' I have no idea what that means, but I think that’s when I woke up...
What the hell was that all about...?
